Rentright has agents using the site which do offer DSS properties for tenants to rent. There are two ways that it is possible for a DSS tenant to find a suitable property on the site, these are outlined below.
Searching for a DSS Property
Rentright has thousands of property uploaded by letting agents on the website, not all of the agents or the property uploaded will be available for dss tenants. The easiest method to find a suitable property is to look out for the symbol shown to the left which has DSS written on it. This can be found on the property details page and if DSS is allowed it will show as above.
If DSS is not accepted then the symbol is the same however it has a redline through it as to the one to the left, again this will be found on the property details page.
Not all agents will select these options and if this is not the case then no symbol will appear next to the property details, if this is the case and you find a property that you like then it is worth sending off a property enquiry to the agent.
This is an example of the property details page that can be found on Rentright. As you can see from the image to the left, in the bottom left hand corner there are three small icons this is where the DSS accepted or not accepted icon will appear. There will only be an icon if the letting agent has specified the criteria when uploading the property. As mentioned in the article previously if there are no symbols shown then send an email using the 'email agent button' to obtain more information about the property.
