Welcome to KINGSMOOR HOUSE
Dating from the 1700s, Kingsmoor House began life as a gentleman‘s residence two storeys high by three windows wide. The first half of the 19th Century saw extensive additions which more than doubled the size of the building and a front porch was added later that century.
Ownership of the house passed from the Risdens in the 18th Century, then to the Houblons and finally to the Todhunters, a worthy and respected family of Great Parndon. Kingsmoor House is today protected by a Grade II' listing and, under the watchful eye of English Heritage, has undergone a skilful restoration and conversion into nine luxury apartments.
This historic building is experiencing a renaissance that will sympathetically restore and retain the important architectural features including the magnificent bow windows, the colonnaded porch, the elegant high ceilings and many of the original cornices and mouldings. It will be eminently placed to remain a feature of the region‘s archi
