Spacious, modern and cosy, Hopton has been designed to provide a
comfortable base for up to 8 people. Just a short walk from the edge of
Darwin Lake, it enjoys prime positioning in our Holiday Village.
To the left of the entrance hallway is access to the generously-sized, openplan
kitchen, living and dining area. This wraps its way round much of the
ground floor and is an ideal space for you all to gather and unwind.
Elsewhere on the ground floor, there is also one of the four bedrooms in the
cottage; as well as access to the rear patio. This bedroom has its own ensuite
Heading upstairs, the first floor offers peaceful views out over the waters of
Darwin Lake. The space provides access to the remaining three bedrooms.
These consist of:
A large king-size bedroom with TV and ensuite A large king-size bedroom
with ensuite and a further king-size bedroom.
Beds throughout the cottage can be configured as appropriate, depending
on the required sleeping arrangements. All can be made into king-size or
twin bedrooms.
Darwin Lake is a private village with 20 acres of grounds you are free to enjoy
with woodland and lakeside walks and green areas for outdoor activities and
picnics. We have a fire pit quite close to the property and campfire area in the
woods.
Nearby there are all the attractions of the Peak District and National Park.
All accommodation is fully furnished and equipped for a comfortable stay. Please note that
electricity is not included in the advertised prices and is charged separately based on
usage. A refundable security bond may also be required. Weekly clean and/or linen
changes are available at an additional cost. Please note that stays are available for a
maximum of 28 days or less, or more if with a Corporate entity. Other arrangements may
be possible also eg longer stays.
