Ashurst 1.9 milesThis is an exceptional cottage of considerable character with a 15thcentury history. It is located in the charming hamlet of Withyham next to Hartfield Village, which is particularly well known as being the home of Christopher Robin and Winnie The Pooh by A. A. Milne.
Close by is The Dorset Arms in Withyham, a very well regarded gastropub, which forms part of the Buckhurst Estate. A short drive away is Hartfield with village shop, The Bear Inn and sports facilities including cricket/football/tennis clubs. Both villages have popular primary schools.
