My husband and I bought our first house through Picklescott homes in February of this year.From the beginning of the process, in November 2015, we were very impressed with the company. David was extremely professional and friendly. He was willing to help as this was our first purchase, whilst being clear with the professional boundaries of what he could help us with when making an offer. He kept us fully informed through the process of making the offer, and contacted us the same evening to inform us that we had been successful, even though it was long past normal office hours. My wife and I had David come and provide a valuation in around March of 2015, he was one of 4 different agents we had come over. We found David to not be pushy, tell the truth and have a genuine desire to achieve the best possible price for our property (unlike others!).We decided however that it wasn't the right time to sell.In December 2015 we decided it was now the right time, and gave David a call (he was the only agent we felt we could trust!) and appointed him to sell our property... It didn't bother him that it was between Christmas and New Year, and he still valued, photographed and published our house for sale! I have recently sold and purchased my new home through Picklescott Homes. They were always very willing to help with queries, giving prompt responses. Polite, friendly and approachable with none of the stereotypical cocky estate agent behaviour I have experienced in the past. I would defiantly recommend them to my friends and family. They are also very competitive on pricing and I estimate I saved myself a good proportion of the stamp duty I had to pay out from their low fees. Overall very impressed with them.
We can't thank Tracey & David enough for all their help and warm, personal touch in pushing our move over the line. The solicitors were found wanting up and down the chain but thankfully the Picklescott wonder team smoothed the cracks and mis-communication involving all the conveyancers and buyers/sellers.
