Fitted out with cosy furnishings and modern appliances throughout, Farley
cottage includes everything you could possibly need to enjoy a stay with us at
Darwin Lake.
On the ground floor, you enter into an entrance hallway, which breaks up the
two ground floor spaces of the cottage. To the right, there is a large king-size
bedroom with ensuite. Then, on the other side of the hall is the cottages
open-plan living area.
This large space winds round the cottage and includes a comfy lounge area
and dining table with chairs. There is also a strikingly-contemporary kitchen
with striking granite worktops, which features key appliances like a
dishwasher, oven with hob, microwave and fridge-freezer.
From the hallway, the stairs wind up to the two upstairs bedrooms. These are
both ensuite, with one twin and one king-size; although these can be
switched about between twin and king-size.
Throughout the cottage, there is lots of high-end furniture and storage space,
leaving you free to really make Farley cottage your home whilst you stay here
in the holiday village.
Darwin Lake is a private village with 20 acres of grounds you are free to enjoy
with woodland and lakeside walks and green areas for outdoor activities and
picnics. We have a fire pit quite close to the property and campfire area in the
woods.
Nearby there are all the attractions of the Peak District and National Park.
All accommodation is fully furnished and equipped for a comfortable stay. Please note that
electricity is not included in the advertised prices and is charged separately based on
usage. A refundable security bond may also be required. Weekly clean and/or linen
changes are available at an additional cost. Please note that stays are available for a
maximum of 28 days or less, or more if with a Corporate entity. Other arrangements may
be possible also eg longer stays.
